Welcome to my shop, filled with unique hand-painted watercolour illustrations. Each illustration is created by me, with some inspiration from my twin girls and the English countryside around us. I love to watch the twigs change colour as the seasons go by and create cute animals with furry or feathery tails. I would also love to make your house portrait or maybe for a friend.
I enjoy creating illustrations, not only for children, but also to give us that cosy feeling.
All products aim to be sustainably minded, from paper, to printing service, to packaging. Let's keep an eye on our beautiful world!

About me
I'm Jet, originally from the Netherlands. From our home, a 350 year old converted barn situated in the Garden of England, I have enjoyed creating illustrations for family and friends. With the wish to stay at home to see our twin girls grow up I have set up my own business, called Twig & Tail.
Even though my professional background lies in child development and education I have always been interested in drawing and painting. I get my inspiration from the Kentish countryside around us, but mostly from spending time with our daughters.
I am so happy to combine my new role of being a mum with owning a small business.
